Overview

The HR Trainer at Six Flags Fiesta Texas is a part-time position responsible for delivering impactful training sessions and supporting the development of team members across the park. This role involves maintaining training records, ensuring compliance with certifications, and fostering a positive learning environment aligned with park values.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the park's training administrator, maintaining training records and certifications
  • Partner with department trainers to track and ensure compliance with required certifications
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions across departments
  • Facilitate engaging HR-led training sessions including New Hire Orientation and Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
  • Maintain accurate training documentation for compliance and audit purposes
  • Assist in the development and continuous improvement of training materials and programs
  • Support onboarding efforts for new hires
  • Provide guidance to department trainers on training processes and standards

Required skills

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with computer systems, willing to learn Dayforce
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules including weekends
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; some college in HR or Education preferred
  • Previous experience in training, facilitation, or HR preferred
