Overview

Prairie Band, LLC is looking for an HR & Recruiting Specialist to lead local recruitment efforts and support core human resources functions. This role focuses on managing the full-cycle recruiting process, building talent pipelines, and assisting with day-to-day HR operations to attract and retain employees effectively.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for assigned positions with a focus on local hiring needs.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Screen applicants, conduct interviews, and provide hiring recommendations.
  • Manage job postings, applicant tracking, and pre-employment activities.
  • Assist in coordinating onboarding processes for new hires.
  • Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Support benefits administration and compliance with employment laws.
  • Recommend process improvements based on current HR and recruiting trends.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in recruiting.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations.
  • Intermediate or better proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organization and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
