Overview

CFS is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their team in Elkhart, Indiana. This fully onsite role will involve a variety of human resources functions such as employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and benefits administration, while promoting a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a resource for employees and managers on HR policies and employee relations.
  • Coordinate full-cycle recruiting activities including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Assist with benefits administration and HR compliance initiatives.
  • Support performance management and employee development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation and personnel files.
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning and retention efforts.
  • Assist with training initiatives and other HR projects.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of HR Generalist experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or related certification is a plus.
