Job Description

Overview

The HR Director will serve as the strategic and operational leader for all Human Resources functions across the organization, partnering with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives. This role involves enhancing employee engagement, overseeing talent acquisition, administering compensation and benefits, and ensuring compliance with HR policies.

Key responsibilities

  • Improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
  • Maintain HR Information System records and compile reports
  • Coordinate and facilitate employee recognition activities
  • Evaluate and update job descriptions
  • Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures
  • Promote diversity awareness in hiring practices
  • Administer payroll, employee benefits, and FMLA
  • Mentor managers on employee development best practices
  • Oversee and administer the company’s compensation programs
  • Research market trends and perform compensation analysis
  • Develop and maintain a pay structure aligned with company objectives
  • Provide compensation support and training to leadership
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process
  • Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies
  • Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
  • Independently manage and resolve complex employee relations issues
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze data for continuous improvement
  • Act as program manager for HR programs such as performance management and benefits
  • Coach managers on employee relations and leadership effectiveness
  • Manage benefit programs including open enrollment and vendor relationships
  • Lead employee engagement and culture initiatives

Required skills

  • 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or operational environments
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations, compensation, and performance management
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or related field
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence at all levels
