Job Description Job Description Company in Redwood City, CA is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator / Talent Acquisition Coordinator for a contract role of 3-6 months to start, with a potential for expansion.Will support a busy Talent Acquisition team during a period of growth. This individual will play a critical role in creating a seamless candidate and new hire experience by managing onboarding activities, coordinating recruiting operations, supporting HR administration, and serving as a key point of contact for employees and stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesOnboarding & Recruiting SupportCoordinate and manage new hire onboarding activities from offer acceptance through start date.Schedule onboarding meetings, orientations, and training sessions.Manage pre-employment screenings, background checks, and related follow-ups with third-party vendors.Track onboarding progress and provide timely updates to recruiters, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.Ensure all required employment documentation, including immigration and onboarding forms, are completed accurately and on time.Communicate regularly with candidates and new hires to ensure a positive onboarding experience.HR Operations & Administrative SupportSupport Talent Acquisition leadership with administrative and operational initiatives.Assist with purchase requisition (PR) and purchase order (PO) processes, tracking, and execution.Maintain onboarding and recruiting trackers, reports, and documentation.Serve as a backup resource for the Director of Talent Acquisition as needed.Answer employee questions and provide guidance on routine HR-related inquiries.Manage and update internal intranet content, including copy editing and content maintenance.Event & Training CoordinationCoordinate logistics for employee events, meetings, and training programs.Arrange meeting locations, catering, materials, printing, and shipping of event-related items.Support training setup and scheduling across teams and departments.Partner with executives, including VP-level stakeholders, to ensure seamless event and training coordination.Reporting & AnalyticsMaintain accurate recruiting and onboarding data.Assist with reporting, data analysis, performance metrics, and goal tracking.Monitor process effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.Qualifications Required2+ years of experience in HR, Talent Acquisition Coordination, Recruiting Coordination, Onboarding, or related administrative support roles.Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong customer service mindset and ability to interact professionally with employees, candidates, executives, and external vendors.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR/recruiting systems.Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams.PreferredExperience supporting recruiting or talent acquisition functions.Exposure to HR operations and employee lifecycle processes.Experience coordinating events, training programs, or executive-level logistics.Comfortable working with reporting, metrics, and data analysis.Experience managing intranet or internal communications content.What We're Looking ForA proactive, "go above and beyond" attitude.Strong follow-through and execution skills.High degree of professionalism and confidentiality.Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.Someone who enjoys supporting a variety of initiatives and is comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment.
