Overview

Position Overview Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support day-to-day HR operations and provide administrative support to leadership. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and thrives on organization, confidentiality, and delivering an exceptional employee experience. The position offers flexibility and may be structured as a 30-hour-per-week role based on the selected candidate's preferences. Key Responsibilities Process payroll in coordination with an external payroll provider, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. Support the full recruitment lifecycle, including posting positions, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, conducting reference and background checks, and assisting with hiring decisions. Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and completion of employment documentation. Administer employee benefit programs, including enrollments, changes, and communication with benefit providers. Maintain accurate employee records, HR files, and personnel documentation while ensuring confidentiality. Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and wellness activities. Coordinate employee offboarding, including exit documentation and system updates. Maintain HR policies, procedures, and process documentation. Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll. Assist leadership with a variety of administrative and HR-related projects. Stay current on HR best practices, employment regulations, and compliance requirements. Perform other administrative and human resources duties as assigned. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, Office Administration, or a related administrative support role. Working knowledge of payroll processes and HR administration. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, spreadsheet management, and basic data analysis. Excellent organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and business information.
