Overview

Hollandia Dairy is looking for a detail-oriented and solution-focused HR Coordinator to support various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee relations at their San Marcos, California location. The ideal candidate will excel in communication and relationship-building while ensuring adherence to company policies and California employment laws.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding activities
  • Serve as a resource for employees and managers on HR policies and procedures
  • Maintain HRIS and employee records, ensuring compliance documentation
  • Support compliance programs related to employment law and regulations
  • Coordinate leave administration and related communications
  • Plan and facilitate employee appreciation events and recognition programs
  • Create and distribute various employee communications and materials
  • Generate reports and analyze HR data to support business objectives
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors for efficient HR operations

Required skills

  • Knowledge of California labor laws and employment compliance
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience in creating professional communications and graphics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and HRIS systems
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software
  • Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now and recruiting platforms
