Overview

The HR Business Partner Senior at IVC is a strategic, hands-on role focused on enhancing HR functions through AI and automation within a custom store fixture manufacturing environment. This position will be key in leading recruitment, coaching, payroll, benefits, and health & safety initiatives while fostering a people-first culture and driving operational transformation as the company grows.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for various roles with AI support
  • Onboard new employees and engage with early-stage coaching and mentoring
  • Align HR strategy and culture initiatives with business goals
  • Manage HR operations including payroll, benefits, records, and compliance
  • Oversee health, safety, and compliance training and reporting
  • Implement AI and automation to enhance HR workflows and data visibility
  • Facilitate tech-enabled ways of working and advocate for adoption of new tools

Required skills

  • 10+ years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or construction
  • Strong background in recruitment, coaching, and HR program development
  • Experience with AI, automation, and process improvement
  • Solid understanding of employment law, payroll, and health & safety regulations
  • Bilingual in English and French
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work autonomously
