Job Description Job Description C&S has an immediate opening for a weekend Housing Monitor in Jefferson City. Salary/hours for Housing Monitor: $17/hr.; Saturdays & Sundays 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Responsibilities: Perform related duties to maintain control and assist clients Assure safety of residents by actively observing activity in and around the building and groundsConsistently enforce shelter policies, procedures and guidelinesIntervene when appropriate to resolve issuesComplete pre-screening actions to determine intake eligibility of new individuals seeking admission and complete intake processing Add entries of incidents occurring during the shift to the daily shelter log recordRead and sign the previous entries at the beginning of the shiftObtain and maintain statistics of attendance at all meetings and screeningsUpdate and maintain current daily client list on computerEnter client data into the HMIS database when authorized and trained High school/GED Certificate with one year work experienceCombination of training and work experience will be consideredMust be a team player, a self-starter, and perform well with minimum supervisionExcellent interpersonal skills, initiative and independent judgment and decision-making skills, independent and creative thinking, ability to work with a teamMust be supportive of the organization's mission and policiesAbility to operate with a high level of confidentialityGood communication skills as well as the ability to work with diverse and challenging personalities are essentialBasic computer skills (including Word and Excel)Must possess or obtain Adult and Child CPR, First Aid and Blood Borne Pathogens certification within three months of employmentComplete HMIS training within three months of employment for select shifts Apply online and/or at 1731 Southridge Drive, Jefferson City. 111014 PandoLogic. , Location: Fulton, MO - 65251 , PL:
