Overview

Milton Hershey School (MHS) is seeking married couples to fill the role of Full-time Flex Houseparents in Hershey, PA. This unique position involves living on campus and providing care, guidance, supervision, and support to a group of 8-13 students in a structured, family-like environment that supports their academic and emotional development.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students
  • Manage household routines and student schedules
  • Administer medications and ensure student wellness
  • Drive students to activities and engage in recreational activities
  • Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel
  • Oversee budgeting and household reporting

Required skills

  • Experience working or volunteering with youth
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free environment
