Milton Hershey School (MHS) is seeking married couples for the role of Full-time Flex Houseparents in Hershey, PA. This position involves residing in on-campus homes and providing essential care, guidance, and supervision for a group of students, fostering their academic, emotional, and social development.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students
  • Manage household routines and student schedules
  • Administer medications and ensure student wellness
  • Drive students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational activities
  • Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel
  • Oversee budgeting and household reporting

Required skills

  • Experience working or volunteering with youth
  • Strong communication and mentorship skills
  • Time management and household management
  • Crisis intervention and teamwork capabilities
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • High school diploma or GED
