Overview

Milton Hershey School (MHS) is seeking married couples to take on the role of Full-time Flex Houseparents in Hershey, PA. In this impactful position, couples will live on-campus and be responsible for the care, guidance, and supervision of a group of 8-13 students, fostering their academic, emotional, and social development in a structured, family-like environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students
  • Manage household routines and student schedules
  • Administer medications and ensure student wellness
  • Drive students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational activities
  • Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel
  • Oversee budgeting and household reporting
  • Support various student homes during the initial transition period

Required skills

  • Experience working or volunteering with youth
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to manage household responsibilities
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
