Overview

Located in Hershey, PA, Milton Hershey School offers a unique opportunity for married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. This role involves providing care, guidance, and support for a group of 8-13 students in a structured, family-like environment aimed at fostering their academic, emotional, and social development.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students
  • Manage household routines and student schedules
  • Administer medications and ensure student wellness
  • Drive students to activities and plan recreational activities
  • Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel
  • Oversee budgeting and household reporting

Required skills

  • Experience working or volunteering with youth
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to drive student home vans
  • Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
  • High school diploma or GED
