Overview

Milton Hershey School (MHS) is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents in Hershey, PA. This unique role involves providing care, guidance, and mentorship to a group of 8-13 students in a structured, family-like environment, promoting their academic, emotional, and social development.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students
  • Manage household routines and student schedules
  • Administer medications and ensure student wellness
  • Drive students to activities and plan recreational activities
  • Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel
  • Oversee household budgeting and reporting

Required skills

  • Experience working or volunteering with youth
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
  • Comfort leading students in daily devotions
