Description: JOB TITLE: Public Attendant / Housekeeping Support (Full-Time)Residence Inn by Marriott - Prescott, AZResidence Inn by Marriott is seeking a dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented Public Attendant / Housekeeping Support team member to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests.This is a full-time morning position working 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, five days per week. Weekend availability is required.POSITION SUMMARYThe primary responsibility of this position is maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of all public areas throughout the hotel to Marriott standards. This position also supports the Housekeeping and Maintenance departments as business needs require. While the primary focus is public areas, team members may assist with houseman duties, guest rooms, preventative maintenance support, and other operational tasks to ensure an exceptional guest experience.RESPONSIBILITIES• Clean and maintain all public areas including the lobby, breakfast area, fitness center, public restrooms, guest laundry, meeting rooms, hallways, elevators, and pool area.• Vacuum, mop, dust, sanitize, and maintain all common areas.• Empty trash and recycling throughout the property.• Restock public area supplies and guest amenities.• Maintain exterior entrances, sidewalks, patios, and other guest-facing outdoor spaces.• Assist Housekeeping with houseman duties including stocking linen closets, delivering linens, supplies, cribs, rollaway beds, and guest requests.• Assist with laundry and linen distribution as needed.• Help clean guest rooms during high occupancy or staffing needs.• Support the Maintenance department with light maintenance tasks, room inspections, preventative maintenance projects, moving furniture, replacing light bulbs, setting meeting rooms, and other general hotel projects.• Report maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns immediately.• Provide friendly, professional guest service at all times.• Follow all Marriott brand standards and hotel safety procedures.QUALIFICATIONS• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.• Reliable attendance and punctuality.• Self-motivated and able to work independently.• Team player willing to assist wherever needed.• Strong attention to detail.• Excellent customer service and communication skills.• Ability to remain active throughout an 8-hour shift.• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.• Previous hotel housekeeping, custodial, janitorial, or maintenance experience is preferred but not required.• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.SCHEDULE• Full-Time• Morning Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM• Five days per week• Open availability required• Weekend availability is mandatoryWHY JOIN OUR TEAM?At Residence Inn by Marriott, every associate plays an important role in creating exceptional guest experiences.
