Overview

The Hospitality Management Internship in the Food and Beverage Department at Six Flags Great Adventure offers an opportunity for individuals to gain hands-on experience in the hospitality industry. Interns will learn about both Back of House and Front of House operations while aiming to deliver exceptional meals and memorable experiences for guests.

Key responsibilities

  • Sell food and beverages at outdoor carts and/or indoor restaurants
  • Take and fill orders while multitasking
  • Prepare and assemble food items using various cooking equipment
  • Handle and serve food products safely
  • Process orders using Point of Sale systems
  • Dispense and sell alcoholic beverages
  • Set and stock tables and venues
  • Work with cleaning chemicals
  • Ensure readiness for daily operations with team members and facilities
  • Perform opening and closing duties including equipment maintenance checks
  • Maintain venue inventory and manage costs
