Overview

The Hospitality Management Internship in Food and Beverage at Six Flags Great Adventure offers a chance to gain valuable experience in the hospitality sector. It focuses on delivering exceptional meals and memorable family experiences, providing interns with knowledge of both Back of House and Front of House operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Sell food and beverages at outdoor carts and indoor restaurants
  • Take and fill orders while multitasking
  • Prepare and assemble food items using industrial cooking equipment
  • Handle and serve a variety of food products
  • Process orders correctly for the kitchen
  • Dispense and sell alcoholic beverages
  • Set and stock tables and food carts
  • Work with cleaning chemicals
  • Ensure readiness for daily operations
  • Perform opening and closing duties and report equipment maintenance needs
  • Maintain compliance with Department of Health and Beverage Laws
  • Manage inventory and maintain adequate stock of supplies
  • Monitor food, beverage, and non-labor costs
