Overview

The Hospitality Management Internship in Food and Beverage at Six Flags Great Adventure offers a unique opportunity to work within the Food and Beverage Department. Interns will gain valuable experience in both back and front of house operations while helping to create memorable dining experiences for guests.

Key responsibilities

  • Sell food and beverages at outdoor carts and indoor restaurants
  • Take and fill orders while multitasking
  • Prepare and assemble food items using industrial cooking equipment
  • Handle and serve food products safely
  • Process orders properly for the kitchen using point of sale systems
  • Dispense and sell alcoholic beverages
  • Set and stock tables, outdoor carts, and restaurants
  • Work independently or as part of a large team
  • Perform opening and closing duties and report maintenance issues
  • Maintain inventory and manage food, beverage, and non-labor costs
