Overview

Wellstar MCG Health is seeking a Hospital Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the new Wellstar Columbia County Hospital, set to open in the fall of 2026. This position will focus on providing clinical services to patients in inpatient settings, emphasizing patient care and clinical documentation.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide clinical services to patients in inpatient settings
  • Ensure thorough documentation of clinical care
  • Complete documentation and tasks necessary for billing and administrative functions
  • Comply with all WellStar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • BLS - Basic Life Support certification
  • Acute care certification for Nurse Practitioners (NPs)
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (CNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Competency in clinical skills related to the specialty
