Overview

WhiteCap Search is seeking a Hospitalist Physician Assistant to join a community hospital in Windham, Connecticut. This permanent position involves providing care to patients on an open ICU floor and working closely with a collaborative team, while enjoying a competitive salary and benefits.

Key responsibilities

  • Work 8-hour shifts, averaging 40 hours per week, with no block scheduling
  • Cover 2 weekend days per month
  • Attend to patients, ages 16 and up, on an open ICU floor with no procedural responsibilities
  • Respond to codes on the hospital floor as required
  • Complete a mix of administrative duties and patient rounding, managing a census of no more than 12 patients

Required skills

  • 2 years of experience
  • Board Certified (BC)
