Overview

A Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (APP) opportunity is available at a welcoming community hospital in Windham, Connecticut. This role involves working as part of a supportive team in an environment known for its excellent quality of life.

Key responsibilities

  • Work 8-hour shifts, averaging 40 hours per week; no block scheduling
  • Cover 2 weekend days per month
  • Complete 20-21 shifts per month
  • Attend to patients on an open ICU floor, ages 16 and up; no procedural responsibilities
  • Respond to codes on the hospital floor as required
  • Perform a mix of administrative duties and patient rounding with a census of no more than 12 patients
