Overview

Accountable Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide Hospitalist coverage at a Northern Michigan hospital. This position involves working night shifts on a 7 on/7 off schedule with an emphasis on hospital medicine without ICU duties or procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide Hospitalist coverage during night shifts
  • Collaborate with on-site physicians and healthcare professionals
  • Manage patient care and assessments in a hospital setting
  • Utilize Cerner EMR system for patient documentation

Required skills

  • Active Michigan License
  • Board Certification
  • Prior Hospitalist experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Clinical assessment skills
  • Ability to work night shifts
