Overview

Protean Med LLC is seeking a Board Certified OBGYN Hospitalist for locum coverage at a community hospital in Fresno, California. The facility, which has a strong obstetrics program and offers a mix of gynecology and obstetrics care, is looking for coverage during various dates in March and April.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide locum coverage for obstetrics and gynecology
  • Utilize the EPIC EMR documentation system
  • Manage low-risk and high-risk pregnancy cases
  • Perform routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections
  • Conduct OB ultrasounds and surgical gynecology procedures
  • Complete credentialing process in a timely manner

Required skills

  • Board Certified in OBGYN
  • Active California Medical License
  • BLS Certification
  • Proficiency in low-risk and high-risk pregnancy management
  • Experience with OB ultrasounds (Level I & II)
  • Ability to perform routine and complicated deliveries
  • Experience with surgical gynecology procedures
