Overview

Ardent Health Services is seeking a Hospitalist Physician to join their nocturnist team at Baptist St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo, Texas. This opportunity offers a collaborative environment with strong support, focusing on patient-centered care while managing a balanced workload of admissions and ICU responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle overnight admissions from ER and direct admits
  • Provide ICU and floor cross-coverage
  • Supervise nurse practitioners (NPs)
  • Manage selected ICU patients in coordination with intensivists
  • Participate in optional procedures like central lines and airway management
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation

Required skills

  • Board-certified or board-eligible physician
  • Experience in hospitalist or nocturnist roles
  • Strong clinical decision-making and patient care skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Familiarity with ICU management
