Key responsibilities

  • Provide obstetric care to a diverse patient population
  • Manage emergent gynecological cases
  • Work collaboratively within a medical team
  • Handle emergent gynecological responsibilities
  • Maintain strong clinical judgment and decision-making in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Valid state medical license in Virginia or ability to obtain one
  • Proven experience managing obstetric emergencies and GYN cases
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience working as a hospitalist in an OB/GYN setting
  • Familiarity with Level 3B NICU care
  • Prior locum or temporary coverage experience
  • Bilingual abilities (a plus)
