Overview

Banner Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice/Palliative Medicine Physician to join their interdisciplinary team at the Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center in Sun City West, Arizona. This position focuses on providing inpatient care for patients dealing with serious life-threatening illnesses, emphasizing symptom management and patient and family education within a multidisciplinary framework.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient care for patients with serious life-threatening illnesses
  • Manage symptoms and educate patients and families
  • Build collaborative relationships within the healthcare team
  • Work independently in a new start-up Palliative Care program
  • Assist in growing the Palliative Care services within the community

Required skills

  • BC/BE in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
  • Fellowship training in Palliative Care preferred
  • Experience in patient management and symptom management
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently
