Overview

JARP Industries Inc is seeking an experienced Machine Operator for the 2nd shift in Schofield, Wisconsin. This full-time position involves setting up, adjusting, and operating hone machines to meet specified dimensions and finish requirements for various components.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up and operate hone machines following work instructions
  • Read and interpret shop routing and blueprints for specifications
  • Fill out SPC charting as required
  • Conduct inspections of parts during production runs
  • Locate and obtain necessary parts for the job
  • Perform daily and weekly maintenance inspections on equipment
  • Check and maintain hone stones
  • Clean and deburr all pieces processed

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two-year Associates Degree in Machine Tool techniques or 2+ years of machine operating experience
  • Knowledge in the use of inspection equipment
  • Ability to understand blueprints and gage readings
  • Experience with CNC operation and quality inspection
