Overview

The Homecare Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role at Care Options for Kids focuses on providing dedicated, one-on-one pediatric home health care in Florida. This position allows LPNs to build meaningful relationships with their patients, supported by registered nurses and clinical leadership.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one care for pediatric patients with skilled nursing needs
  • Collaborate closely with registered nurses and clinical leadership
  • Follow clear plans of care with RN oversight
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort in alignment with CDC guidelines

Required skills

  • Current Florida LPN license
  • BLS CPR certification (in-person only)
  • TB Skin Test or TB Blood Test
  • Alzheimer's training (2 Hour DOEA Approved Course)
  • Experience in pediatric nursing and patient care
  • Knowledge of infection control and healthcare support
  • Team collaboration skills
