Overview

Home Title Group is looking for a positive and hard-working Independent Contract Closer to join their title processing team in Rockford, Illinois. This role involves ensuring smooth title closing processes for real estate transactions, emphasizing attention to detail and effective communication with clients and industry professionals.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform seller and buyer closing transactions associated with real estate purchases and refinances
  • Review title commitments and prepare necessary documents for signing
  • Assess releases, surveys, contracts, mortgages, and payoff letters
  • Review conveyance documents such as deeds and leases
  • Clear title and resolve outstanding issues
  • Coordinate with attorneys, lenders, and other real estate professionals
  • Follow closing procedures and escrow instructions
  • Perform additional administrative and clerical duties as required

Required skills

  • Experience in real estate transactions or as a title closer (preferred)
