Overview

Generations Home Loans is looking for mortgage operations professionals to transition into a client-facing Home Loan Consultant role. This position focuses on guiding borrowers through the loan process, utilizing operational knowledge to provide clear guidance and build trust with referral partners.

Key responsibilities

  • Use mortgage operations experience to guide borrowers through the loan process
  • Develop referral relationships with real estate professionals and past clients
  • Consult with buyers on loan options, documentation requirements, and transaction expectations
  • Communicate proactively with all stakeholders throughout each loan file
  • Build a purchase-focused home lending business through client service and referral development

Required skills

  • Active NMLS License in good standing
  • Experience with purchase-focused residential mortgage origination
  • Ability to consistently generate and maintain agent-based referral business
  • Knowledge of loan processing, closing, and mortgage operations
  • Strong communication and relationship development skills
