Overview

Generations Home Loans is looking for experienced mortgage operations professionals to transition into a Home Loan Consultant role. This position focuses on guiding buyers through the loan process while developing relationships with agents and clients to enhance referral-based production.

Key responsibilities

  • Guide borrowers through the loan process using mortgage operations experience
  • Develop referral relationships with real estate professionals and past clients
  • Consult with buyers on loan options, documentation requirements, and transaction expectations
  • Communicate proactively with agents, borrowers, processors, underwriters, and closing teams
  • Build a purchase-focused home lending business combining process expertise and client service

Required skills

  • Active NMLS License in good standing
  • Experience with purchase-focused residential mortgage origination
  • Ability to generate and maintain agent-based referral business
  • Mortgage processing
