Overview

Generations Home Loans is looking for experienced mortgage operations professionals to transition into a Home Loan Consultant role. This position focuses on guiding borrowers through the loan process while developing referral relationships and managing expectations throughout the transaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Use mortgage operations experience to guide borrowers through the loan process
  • Develop referral relationships with real estate professionals and past clients
  • Consult with buyers on loan options and documentation requirements
  • Communicate proactively with agents, borrowers, processors, underwriters, and closing teams
  • Build a purchase-focused home lending business through client service and referral development

Required skills

  • Active NMLS License in good standing
  • Experience with purchase-focused residential mortgage origination
  • Strong communication and relationship development skills
  • Ability to generate and maintain agent-based referral business
