Overview

Generations Home Loans is looking for passionate Home Loan Consultants to assist buyers in making informed financing decisions while establishing referral-based relationships in the real estate industry. This role combines client education, sales, and transaction execution to create a seamless mortgage experience for borrowers and grow a sustainable book of business.

Key responsibilities

  • Cultivate referral relationships with real estate professionals, past clients, and community contacts
  • Advise borrowers on home loan options, affordability considerations, documentation requirements, and next steps
  • Support agents and buyers with pre-approval communication and loan scenario guidance
  • Provide timely transaction updates
  • Coordinate with processing, underwriting, and closing teams for a smooth borrower experience
  • Represent Generations Home Loans as a dependable consultant in the local market

Required skills

  • Active NMLS License in good standing
  • Experience with purchase-focused residential mortgage origination
  • Ability to generate and maintain agent-based referral business
  • Licensing eligibility in CA, WA, OR, UT, or ID
