Overview

Amergis Locum Tenens is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner for a mobile travel position in the San Fernando Valley, Palmdale, and Lancaster areas of California. The role involves conducting primary care and follow-up visits for patients in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) and their homes.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct primary care and follow-up visits for patients
  • Travel to various locations including San Fernando Valley, Palmdale, and Lancaster
  • Manage a patient volume of 4-8 patients per day
  • Utilize EMR systems, specifically Cerner

Required skills

  • Active California Nurse Practitioner license
  • Board Certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • DEA certification
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Primary Care and/or Geriatrics
  • Travel experience is a plus
