Overview

Chesterfield Health Services is seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals to serve as Home Care Aids for the elderly, disabled, and veteran populations in the Tri-Cities area of Washington. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities and offering companionship, with opportunities for both part-time and full-time positions.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist clients with walking, transfers, and mobility
  • Help with personal hygiene and bathing
  • Prepare meals and assist with eating
  • Perform housekeeping tasks and laundry
  • Provide companionship and support in daily activities
  • Facilitate shopping and transportation needs
  • Use telephone for communication and scheduling

Required skills

  • Ability to perform basic caregiving duties
  • Understanding of personal care assistance
  • Knowledge of meal preparation and housekeeping
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 35lbs
  • Successful completion of a Washington State background check
