Job Description

Overview

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Electronics Technician to support laboratory operations in Marlborough, MA. This role involves testing, documenting, and troubleshooting analog and power electronics, particularly high voltage transmitter systems, for applications in RF systems and power electronics.

Key responsibilities

  • Test and troubleshoot analog and power electronics and high voltage transmitter systems.
  • Present technical data to engineers for review.
  • Monitor and document test results and equipment performance.
  • Support integration activities, including system-level testing.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on transmitter systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Engage in personal technical growth and facilitate growth in peers.
  • Travel to other company locations as required.

Required skills

  • Experience in electronics and electrical hardware fabrication.
  • Knowledge of high voltage electronics and safety issues related to them.
  • Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
  • Experience with RF electronic components and RF waveguides.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics.
  • Hands-on experience with AC or DC high voltage systems.
  • Strong electro-mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience troubleshooting field equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
