Job Description

Overview

The High Voltage Manager at JLL will lead the High Voltage Department in operating and maintaining critical electrical systems for a large client portfolio. This role focuses on ensuring comprehensive maintenance practices, managing vendor relationships, and providing engineering support for campus projects, all while maintaining reliable and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the High Voltage Department team in daily operations and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure timely completion of all operational and preventative maintenance work orders with zero backlog.
  • Oversee vendor preventative maintenance programs and coordinate repairs for critical electrical equipment.
  • Develop maintenance specifications and lead projects related to electrical systems.
  • Coordinate with client stakeholders on maintenance activities and project involvement.
  • Provide electrical engineering support for campus projects, including developing scopes of work and cost estimates.
  • Prepare documentation and perform site assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related technical field
  • 8-10 years of experience in high voltage electrical systems, with 3-5 years in a supervisory role
  • Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, UPS systems, generators, and critical environment support equipment
  • Experience with CMMS work order management systems and proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead technical teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and commitment to continuous improvement
