Job Description

Overview

Lilly is seeking a High Voltage Electrician - Instrument Technician for its new advanced manufacturing facility in Lebanon, IN. This role involves servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining utility equipment, ensuring compliance with cGMP standards, and contributing to the successful startup of the facility's operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on high voltage electrical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical equipment problems.
  • Install and replace complex electrical equipment.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Process Instrumentation.
  • Document all work following Good Documentation Practices.
  • Assist in multiple crafts and ensure utility equipment maintenance.

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 480 Volt switch gear experience
  • Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot and install various instrumentation
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic electrical skills
  • Experience maintaining circuit breakers and Medium Voltage Switchgear
  • Ability to read P & ID drawings and schematics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience with a CMMS (e.g., GMARS)
