Mission AlignmentThe High School Coordinator plays a key leadership role in discipling high school students, guiding them toward maturity, purpose, and leadership. This role combines relational ministry, program leadership, and oversight of the Oaks Internship Program, preparing students for life beyond high school. Key Responsibilities Student Engagement & PresenceBuild strong, mentoring relationships with high school students through consistent presence in schools, neighborhoods, and community spacesAttend students' extracurricular activities and school eventsProvide regular check-ins and support related to academics, faith, and life planning Program Leadership - Urban Leadership Project (ULP)Plan, lead, and implement weekly High School ULP gatherings on Tuesday nightsRecruit, train, and support volunteers serving with high school studentsPlan teaching content, speakers, and leadership development opportunities Internship Program OversightOversee the Oaks Internship ProgramDisciple and mentor high school internsPlan and implement intern trainings (leadership, life skills, financial literacy, discipleship)Ensure interns are fulfilling responsibilities and growing in maturity and accountability Events & ExperiencesPlan and implement special events, retreats, and leadership experiences for high school studentsPlan and lead a High School Summer Camp experience focused on discipleship, leadership, and preparation for adulthood Discipleship & DevelopmentProvide consistent biblical discipleship and leadership developmentTeach or prepare lessons for ULP, internships, camps, and other programming Team CollaborationCoordinate closely with the Middle School Coordinator for shared events, transitions, and vision alignmentParticipate in weekly staff meetings and monthly evaluations with Co-DirectorsAssist with "all hands on deck" ministry events Skills & QualificationsLove for Jesus and commitment to living out the GospelExperience working with high school students, preferably in an urban or mentoring contextStrong relational and leadership skillsExperience in mentoring, discipleship, or leadership developmentOrganized, proactive, and able to manage multiple programsFlexible schedule and willingness to engage beyond traditional work hours Benefits: Health insurancePaid time offRetirement plan Work Location: In person
