Overview

Novant Health is seeking a full-time Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant to join their Malignant Hematology, Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program. This role involves collaboration with a dynamic team to provide care for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings while maintaining a strong focus on work-life balance.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional patient care as part of a dedicated medical team
  • Support malignant hematology and autologous stem cell transplant patients
  • Engage in teamwork and community involvement
  • Foster a safe patient environment following the principle of 'First Do No Harm'
  • Participate in continuous learning and quality care practices

Required skills

  • Master's Degree in appropriate field
  • Graduate of an NCCPA accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • 1-3 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider
  • Current PA license in North Carolina
  • NCCPA Certification
  • Current DEA registry
  • ACLS certification (if applicable)
