Overview

Ashtabula Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant to join their medical team. This role involves providing patient care in both outpatient and hospital settings, catering to a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage 15-20 patients per day in outpatient setting
  • Care for 3-5 patients per day in hospital
  • Provide care to a 50% adult and 50% geriatric patient population
  • Handle a patient load consisting of 25% Hematology and 75% Oncology cases
  • Participate in on-call duties for 10 days per month

Required skills

  • 1+ year clinical experience as NP/PA in Hematology/Oncology specific clinic/hospital setting
  • Familiarity with EMR - EPIC
  • Ability to work in-person; telemedicine is not an option
  • Willingness to relocate or live within a 40-mile radius of Ashtabula
