Overview

Ashtabula Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team in Ashtabula, Ohio. The role involves managing outpatient and hospital patients in a multispecialty group practice setting, and requires in-person attendance with a full-time negotiable schedule.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage 15-20 outpatient patients and 3-5 hospital patients per day
  • Work with a patient population that is 50% adult and 50% geriatric
  • Provide care with a focus on 25% Hematology and 75% Oncology
  • Participate in on-call duties for 10 days per month
  • Collaborate with 2 physicians in practice
  • Utilize EMR system - EPIC

Required skills

  • 1+ year clinical experience as NP/PA in Hematology/Oncology setting
  • Experience in a specific clinic/hospital setting (not including RN, training, or general practice)
  • Ability to work in an in-person capacity (telemedicine is not an option)
  • Willingness to relocate within 40-mile radius if not residing nearby
