Overview

Ascend Medical Staffing is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant to provide locum tenens coverage at a 191-bed facility in Indiana. The role focuses primarily on outpatient care with a flexible schedule and includes a call rotation.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide patient care and ambulatory clinic coverage
  • Work 36 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Participate in a call rotation every 4th or 5th week
  • Handle new consults at the hospital as an on-call provider
  • Focus primarily on outpatient care

Required skills

  • Any State license accepted
  • Clinical skills in Hematology and Oncology
  • Experience in patient care
  • Ability to work flexible hours
