Overview

ATC West Healthcare Services is looking for a Locum Hematology/Oncology physician to provide ongoing outpatient coverage at a free-standing cancer center in Oregon. The role involves working within a collaborative oncology team to support patients with solid tumors, especially focusing on timely access for new cancer diagnoses.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient coverage for oncology patients
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists and advanced practice providers
  • Conduct patient evaluations and treatment planning
  • Perform duties consistent with training and licensure in medical oncology and hematology
  • Participate in 1:4 call rotation, including one weekend
  • Ensure rapid access for new diagnoses within one week of referral

Required skills

  • Board Certified in both Hematology and Oncology
  • Active Oregon License preferred
  • Clean background / no malpractice
  • CAQH login and password required at time of offer
  • DEA confirmation required
  • Self-Query NPDB required
