Overview

WhiteCoat Locums is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide locum coverage in a facility near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The role involves working in a rural hospital setting with a consistent schedule and manageable patient load.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care in clinic and hospital settings
  • Manage a daily caseload of 12-15 adult and geriatric patients
  • Handle inpatient consults and new referral patients
  • Refer patients to Interventional Radiology for bone marrow biopsies
  • Participate in the call rotation

Required skills

  • Board-Certified in Hematology/Oncology
  • Active Pennsylvania State License or accepted IMLC
  • Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and DEA
  • 1-2 years of experience in hematology and oncology
  • Familiarity with ONCO EMR and Cerner systems
