Overview

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician to join their Division of Hematology/Oncology in Worcester, Massachusetts. This role combines academic practice with community-based cancer care, offering a supportive team environment and access to state-of-the-art facilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care focused on thoracic and head & neck cancers
  • Manage a clinic schedule of 6 half-day sessions per week with an average of 8 patients per session
  • Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and conferences
  • Engage in teaching, clinical research, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Utilize the Electronic Medical Record system, Epic

Required skills

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology/Oncology
  • MD or DO degree
  • Eligibility for Massachusetts medical licensure
  • Interest in academic medicine
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment
