Novant Health Cancer Institute-Rowan is seeking a medical oncologist to join their team in Salisbury, NC. This position offers an opportunity to work in a well-established cancer center, focusing on comprehensive care with a patient population of 18 and older, and emphasizes a collaborative environment among healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide care to a patient population of 18+
  • Collaborate with the radiation oncology team for coordinated care
  • Manage an average patient panel of 15-20 per day
  • Contribute to a comprehensive cancer program emphasizing disease sub-specialization
  • Participate in clinical duties across 4 days plus 1 administrative day each week

Required skills

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Medical Oncology
  • Experience in patient care and clinical research
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Healthcare management skills
