Overview

Concord Physicians Solutions is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for outpatient clinic coverage with an alternating call rotation. The role involves managing a patient load primarily focused on oncology patients and includes hospital rounding during call weeks.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient clinic coverage Monday through Friday
  • Participate in every other week call rotation with offsite night call and weekend coverage if needed
  • Conduct hospital rounding and complete admits/consults during call week
  • Manage a patient load in a clinic setting with support from a daily NP
  • Utilize the EPIC EMR system for patient documentation and scheduling

Required skills

  • Board Certified in both Medical Oncology and Hematology or acceptable combined fellowship certification
  • Kentucky medical license or Compact license preferred
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Experience with EPIC EMR system
  • Clinical experience with inpatient or consultative Hematology/Oncology services
