Job Description

Overview

Lighthouse CH is seeking passionate and dedicated Behavior Technicians to join their team. The role involves providing one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism and other special needs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Key responsibilities

  • Implement ABA therapy techniques under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions following individualized treatment plans
  • Teach and reinforce social, communication, and behavioral skills
  • Foster a positive therapeutic relationship with clients
  • Conduct assessments, collect data, and track progress
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team members
  • Communicate effectively with parents/caregivers regarding therapy goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Required skills

  • Experience in ABA therapy or with individuals on the autism spectrum (preferred, but not required)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to follow treatment plans
  • Ability to adapt strategies to individual client needs
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Willingness to learn and receive feedback
  • Availability for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
