Overview

The Heavy Equipment Operator at SunEnergy1 is responsible for managing and performing ground preparation for solar module foundations across various sites in North Carolina. This role requires expertise in operating heavy machinery and collaborating with teams to ensure successful project execution.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage ground preparation for solar module foundations
  • Operate various heavy equipment, including bulldozers and dump trucks
  • Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
  • Assist line crew with digging ditches, hoisting materials, and related tasks
  • Travel as required to various job sites

Required skills

  • Experience with GPS and GPS equipment operation
  • Knowledge of heavy machinery operation
  • Certifications including OSHA Card and equipment trainings
  • Valid driver's license with no recordable violations
  • Ability to perform physical tasks in various environments
