Overview

The H&K Group is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator for their Harrisburg Division in Hummelstown, PA. The role involves operating heavy equipment to meet daily production goals while ensuring adherence to safety standards and maintaining equipment performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment to achieve production goals
  • Adhere to OSHA and H&K Safety policies
  • Perform daily checks and maintenance on equipment
  • Notify shop foreman of any required maintenance or repairs
  • Clean equipment as scheduled and ensure it is securely parked

Required skills

  • One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school or six months of relevant experience
  • Practical skills in operating heavy equipment including dozers, excavators, and loaders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position
