Overview

Capital Waste Services LLC is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join their team in Chatsworth, Georgia. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe operation of heavy machinery at various waste management facilities, ensuring efficient and safe waste handling operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure cleanliness and functionality
  • Safely operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, excavators, bulldozers, and front-end loaders
  • Monitor waste materials for unacceptable items
  • Maintain the operational readiness of equipment and perform minor service when necessary
  • Complete necessary reports and document equipment conditions
  • Follow safety policies and procedures diligently
  • Ensure the cleanliness and proper storage of the equipment at the end of each shift
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
